How I put 5000 members on my List(s) Since Last Summer

Today, one of my subscribers and customers
was telling me how he was drowning in
information overload, and just couldn’t seem to
get anywhere with his business.

The following article is basically what I sent him
in return.

The first thing you need to do is build relationships
with other marketers–as many as you possibly can.

Next, either research and write a short report on
some “niche” subject and offer it with Private
Label rights along with a keyword list to them
as a free download for their subscribers.

Or, you can take a Private Label Rights product,
rework it, change the title, add some content,
add your name as the author, and offer that instead.

I did this with a report on improving the circulation
in the lower body, and have added over 2000
subscribers to one of my lists since last summer.

I have problems with circulation so while I was
researching remedies, I thought other people might
have the same problem, so I put all my research in
a report and gave it away with Private Label Rights.

Another thing I did was put together a Private
membership site and let some other marketers
give away free one-year memberships to their
subscribers.

This has netted me around 3000 members that will turn into
paying members in 12 months!

Altogether, this has added over 5000 subscribers
and members to my lists and it’s virtually “Hands Off”!

I realize these aren’t gigantic numbers like some
of the “gurus” throw around, but did I mention
all this was practically automatic? Like in “Do
the work one time and keep on getting subscribers”?

Now, granted, it’s not easy to do, but it is
just that simple!

Yes, it will take some work, but if you focus on
one thing at a time, I guarantee you’ll be getting
quality subscribers by the dozens.

The wonderful thing about this is…you can keep
on repeating the process, over and over until you
run out of marketers to contact! ;-)

There’s no limit to the size of the list you can
build by doing this one simple process over
and over again with different people.

This truly is the “Million Dollar Secret”.

What you do with it is strictly up to you!

Building Link Popularity with Inbound Links

If you want to increase your website's rankings in the search
engines, you will need to use inbound links, also known as
backlinks, to create link popularity. To do this, you can use
link building directory submission services or promote link
building by submitting to article directories manually.

While there are pros and cons to each method of creating inbound
links, you will find that using link building directory
submission services is very different than promoting link
building by submitting to article directories.

Whichever way you decide to do it, the necessity of creating
inbound links cannot be ignored. Link popularity is crucial for
search engine rankings. Search engine bots automatically assume
that the more backlinks there are pointing to a particular
website, the more popular and valuable the website is. While
this idea works in theory, it allows for the system to be easily
manipulated by savvy web developers who build their own link
popularity using directory submission services or by taking the
more hands on route of by submitting to article directories
manually.

Pros and Cons of Using Link Building Directory Submission
Services Directories to build links are categorized lists of
links from various places around the web. There are many
different directories out there and they all offer different
services at different prices.

There are several pros and cons to using these services to
create backlinks.

Pros Link building directory submission services are easy to
find. They are everywhere on the web.

Most submission services are free or no cost.

These services usually offer quality, traffic-building inbound
links.

Smaller submission services may not be very beneficial.

Cons Link building directory submission services have very
different processes.

Larger services sometimes charge significant fees and may be
hard to get access to.

Free listings can take anywhere from a week to a month to get
added to a directory, and may never be added at all.

Pros and Cons of Promoting Link Building by Submitting to
Article Directories Manually Submitting to article directories
is another easy way to build links. Article directories contain
informational articles for Internet readers. These directories
can be a powerful method of getting quality inbound links.

If you decide to use this method, you will want to submit
articles to as many different article directories as possible.
In general, it is better to submit a different article to each
directory, but if you have a really good piece, you can spread
the same article to multiple sites.

Here are the pros and cons of building links by submitting to
article directories.

Pros Most Internet marketers consider promoting link building by
submitting to article directories one of the best Internet
marketing strategies around.

Search engines love backlinks from content rich pages, such as
article pages. Most article directories are free to submit to.

There are article submission services and software programs that
can make the submissions for you.

Cons Link building by submitting to article directories can be
time consuming if you write your own articles and make
submissions manually.

Software programs can be inaccurate and aren't good at following
article directory guidelines (for example, software programs
can't choose appropriate categories, etc.).

Whether you decide to promote link building by submitting to
article directories or by using link building directory
submission services, there is no denying the importance of
inbound links. If you want your site to be a success in the
search engines, give one of these methods a try. You won't be
disappointed.

No Cost Traffic From Forums and Bulletin Boards!

Forums and bulletin boards are all over the internet. You can find discussions boards on just about any topic imaginable. But how do they benefit you?

You will be tapping in to a very good resource that can provide you with niche topics - questions, problems, etc. You can also learn more about that topic and the language or lingo (meaning) assoicated with that topic.

Plus if you can answer their question, provide solutions for them or just share your knowledge with them, you can become a trust worthy source to them. Which may lead them to do business with you and think about how much extra traffic you can get by members referring you to others.

Most forums or bullentin boards usually required you to be a member to post. Fortunately a lot of them you can register for free.

By searching Google using "bulletin board + topic" or "forum + topic" (topic - a keyword or keyword phrase related to your niche topic) you are sure to find a specialized forum on which you can post messages. The purpose of forums is usually to serve as a meeting place for people with similar goals, interests, discuss their experience and learn about the topic of interest.

Each bulletin board or forum has its own rules, but more than likely you will not be allowed to post advertising messages on the boards. Some boards allow this, but the better ones do not. The reason is simple: they want to protect their members, who are there to share ideas.

When making a post, you do not want to spam the board and risk having your account deleted. Instead most forums will allow you to create a bio/resource box - including about you, your expertise on topic, a link to your site. Then every time you post a message your resource box will be included. Also if you are recommending an affiliate product, you can use that link instead.

If you have a web site relating to that niche topic, you can include a forum on your site. This makes you the moderating and an instant expert. This will give your and your site more credibility for your niche topic.

Another way to make this work for you is to include a chat feature on your web site. But that's a topic for another article.

How to Write an Ebook

The hardest part of writing is the first sentence. When you look at the whole project, it seems like an impossible task. That's why you have to break it downinto manageable tasks. Think of climbing a mountain. You are standing at the foot of it and looking up at its summit vanishing into the clouds. How can you possibly scale such an immense and dangerous mountain?

There is only one way to climb a mountain step by step.

Now think of writing your ebook in the same light. You must create it step by step, and one day, you will take that last step and find yourself standing on the summit with your head in the clouds.

The first thing you have to do, as if you actually were a mountain climber, is to get organized. Instead of climbing gear, however, you must organize your thoughts. There are some steps you should take before you begin. Once you've gone through the following list, you will be ready to actually begin writing yourebook.

Beginning Steps to Writing an ebook

First, figure out your ebook's working title. Jot down a few different titles, and eventually, you'll find that one that will grow on you. Titles help you to focus your writing on your topic; they guide you in anticipating and answering your reader's queries. Many non-fiction books also have subtitles. Aim for clarity in your titles, but cleverness always helps to sell books ? as long as it's not too cute. For example,Remedies for Insomnia: twenty different ways to count sheep. Or: Get off that couch: fifteen exercise plansto whip you into shape.

Next, write out a thesis statement. Your thesis is a sentence or two stating exactly what problem you are addressing and how your book will solve that problem. All chapters spring forth from your thesis statement.Once you've got your thesis statement fine-tuned,you've built your foundation. From that foundation, your book will grow, chapter by chapter.

Your thesis will keep you focused while you write yourebook. Remember: all chapters must support your thesis statement. If they don't, they don't belong in your book. For example, your thesis statement could read:We've all experienced insomnia at times in our lives, but there are twenty proven techniques and methods to give you back a good night's sleep.

Once you have your thesis, before you start to write, make sure there is a good reason to write your book. Ask yourself some questions:

* Does your book present useful information and is that information currently relevant?

* Will your book positively affect the lives of your readers?

* Is your book dynamic and will it keep the reader's attention?

* Does you book answer questions that are meaningful and significant?

If you can answer yes to these questions, you can feel confident about the potential of your ebook.

Another important step is to figure out who your target audience is. It is this group of people you will be writing to, and this group will dictate many elements of your book, such as style, tone, diction, and even length. Figure out the age range of your readers, their general gender, what they are most interested in, and even the socio-economic group they primarily come from. Are they people who read fashion magazines or book reviews? Do they write letters in longhand or spend hours every day online. The more you can pin down your target audience, the easier it will be to write your book for them.

Next, make a list of the reasons you are writing your ebook. Do you want to promote your business? Do you want to bring quality traffic to your website? Do you want to enhance your reputation?

Then write down your goals in terms of publishing. Do you want to sell it as a product on your website, ordo you want to offer it as a free gift for filling out a survey or for ordering a product? Do you want to use the chapters to create an e-course, or use your ebook to attract affiliates around the world? The more you know upfront, the easier the actual writing will be.

Decide on the format of your chapters. In non-fiction,keep the format from chapter to chapter fairly consistent. Perhaps you plan to use an introduction to your chapter topic, and then divide it into four subhead topics. Or you may plan to divide it into five parts, each one beginning with a relevant anecdote.

How to make your ebook "user friendly"

You must figure out how to keep your writing engaging.Often anecdotes, testimonials, little stories, photosgraphs, advice, and tips will keep the reader turning the pages. Sidebars are useful for quick, accessible information, and they break up the density of the page.

Write with a casual, conversational tone rather than a formal tone such as textbook diction. Reader's respond to the feeling that you are having a conversation with them. Break up the length and structure of your sentences so you don't hypnotize your readers into sleep. Sentences that are all the same length and structure tend to be a good aid for insomnia!

Good writing takes practice. It takes lots and lots of practice. Make a schedule to write at least a page aday. Read books and magazines about the process of writing, and jot down tips that jump out at you. The art of writing is a lifetime process; the more you write (and read), the better your writing will become. The better your writing becomes, the bigger your sales figures.

In an ebook that is read on the screen, be aware that you must give your reader's eye a break. You can do this by utilizing white space. In art classes, whitespace is usually referred to as "negative space."Reader's eyes need to rest in the cool white oasises you create on your page. If your page is too dense, your reader will quit out of it as soon as their eyes begin to tear.

Make use of lists, both bulleted and numbered. This makes your information easy to absorb, and gives the reader a mental break from dissecting your paragraphs one after the other.

Finally, decide on an easy-to-read design. Find a font that's easy on the eyes, and stick to that font family. Using dozens of fonts will only tire your readers out before they've gotten past your introduction. Use at least one and a half linespacing, and text large enough to be read easily on the screen, but small enough so that the whole page can be seen on a computer screen. You will have to experiment with this to find the right combination.

Of course, don't forget to run a spell and grammar check. You are judged by something as minor as correct punctuation, so don't mess up a great book by tossing out semicolons randomly, or stringing sentences together with commas. (By the way, that's called a"comma splice.")

Last of all, create an index and a bibliography. That's it! You've written a book! Now all you have to do is publish your ebook online, and wait for download request from your website visitors.
