No Cost Traffic From Forums and Bulletin Boards!

Forums and bulletin boards are all over the internet. You can find discussions boards on just about any topic imaginable. But how do they benefit you?

You will be tapping in to a very good resource that can provide you with niche topics - questions, problems, etc. You can also learn more about that topic and the language or lingo (meaning) assoicated with that topic.

Plus if you can answer their question, provide solutions for them or just share your knowledge with them, you can become a trust worthy source to them. Which may lead them to do business with you and think about how much extra traffic you can get by members referring you to others.

Most forums or bullentin boards usually required you to be a member to post. Fortunately a lot of them you can register for free.

By searching Google using "bulletin board + topic" or "forum + topic" (topic - a keyword or keyword phrase related to your niche topic) you are sure to find a specialized forum on which you can post messages. The purpose of forums is usually to serve as a meeting place for people with similar goals, interests, discuss their experience and learn about the topic of interest.

Each bulletin board or forum has its own rules, but more than likely you will not be allowed to post advertising messages on the boards. Some boards allow this, but the better ones do not. The reason is simple: they want to protect their members, who are there to share ideas.

When making a post, you do not want to spam the board and risk having your account deleted. Instead most forums will allow you to create a bio/resource box - including about you, your expertise on topic, a link to your site. Then every time you post a message your resource box will be included. Also if you are recommending an affiliate product, you can use that link instead.

If you have a web site relating to that niche topic, you can include a forum on your site. This makes you the moderating and an instant expert. This will give your and your site more credibility for your niche topic.

Another way to make this work for you is to include a chat feature on your web site. But that's a topic for another article.
